25 Acts of Kindness: Digging For Giving Donation

14-05-2024 News

In partnership with our long-time suppliers Rumwood Nursery, Clarendon Homes donated three fruit trees and ten bags of peat free soil to the Digging For Giving initiative in Bearsted. The initiative is run by volunteers who will cultivate and grow a plot at the Church Landway Allotments in the hope of donating the produce to local food banks and other charitable organisations.

Our driver, Ian, transported the trees and soil on Friday the 10th, meeting local Bearsted Parish Councillor Carolyn Smith, and other volunteers to hand the donations over.

As part of our #clarendon25 campaign this was a sunny, community driven donation that we hope will have long lasing effects. A huge thank you to the Rumwoods team for your incredible generosity. To find out more about our 25th Anniversary, visit our Celebrating 25 Years news story.
