At Clarendon Homes, we pride ourselves on offering more than just quality crafted homes. We also strive to offer a seamless, stress-free buying experience. From your first enquiry to the day you receive your keys, our team is here to guide you through every step of buying a new build home. Here’s how the Clarendon Homes purchase process works.

Contact us
Whether you’ve spotted your dream home on our website or want to learn more about our upcoming developments, the Clarendon team is here to help. We’ll provide details you need, answer your questions, and help you take that exciting first step toward buying a new build home. Don’t hesitate to enquire or drop an email to the sales address today.
Book a Viewing
Once you’ve found a development or property that catches your eye, and made an enquiry, we can start the process of booking in a viewing! Book a private viewing with one of our sales representatives, or estate agents, who will guide you through the property, highlight its features, and discuss customisation options.

Reserve
The next step is reservation.
You can secure one of our properties by placing a reservation. This ensures that the property is held exclusively for you while the legal and financial processes are completed. Our team will clearly explain the reservation terms and timescales, so you can move forward with confidence. At Clarendon we take extra care to make sure we are in line with the Consumer Code for New Homes.
Appoint a Solicitor
Next, you’ll need to appoint a solicitor to handle the legal aspects of your purchase. They’ll guide you through contracts, searches, and the finer legal details to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Exchange Contracts
Once your solicitor has completed the necessary checks and both parties are ready, contracts are exchanged. This is the formal agreement between you and Clarendon Homes, confirming your commitment to purchase the property. At this stage, a deposit is usually paid, and you can start preparing for your move.

Move in Date Agreed
After contracts are exchanged, we’ll agree on a move-in date that suits you. Our team will keep you informed throughout the final stages of construction and preparation, ensuring your new home is finished to our highest standards before you move in. Buying a new build means a bit more communication with both us and site.
Move In & Handover
On your move-in day, you’ll receive the keys and a full handover pack containing everything you need to know about your new home. Our team will walk you through the property, explain how everything works, and ensure you’re completely satisfied. Then, it’s time to relax and enjoy life in your brand-new Clarendon home.
