Alzheimer’s Research UK Corporate Partnership
01-07-2021 News
We are incredibly proud to announce that we are now a corporate partner of Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK).
What is Alzheimer’s Research UK?
ARUK’s vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm, and heartbreak of dementia.
Without effective treatments, one in three children born today will die with dementia (ARUK, 2021). Today, there are no dementia survivors, but research can change this.
ARUK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. Backed by their passionate scientists and supporters, they are challenging the way people think about dementia, uniting the big thinkers in the field and funding the innovative science that will deliver a cure.

Why we are in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK
At Clarendon Homes, we value our customers and employees above anything else. We are confident that supporting a charity which shares our values and strives to make a positive impact on the world will have several benefits for us and the wider community.
Internally, we know that supporting ARUK will be something our staff will gain a huge boost of motivation from, because it is a worthy cause which we can all get behind together. This is especially pertinent for our newest development, Cobnut Park, which is exclusively for over 55’s who require an element of care. These residents are more at risk of developing or already having dementia, so to educate our staff about dementia and what we can all do to help ARUK will mean a lot to our staff, our customers, and the families of both of these groups too.
For the wider community, awareness is the most important outcome of our partnership. The more that people know about Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and how each of us can help… the better. Making a breakthrough in the battle against dementia is a global effort, so we are proud to be able to do whatever we can to assist ARUK.
