4 Things We Love About Forge Mews
25-06-2024 Blog
Forge Mews is our new build development in Bearsted, and although it has many features we love, these are some of our favourites. From external features, to collaborators, here are a few of our top features at Forge Mews.
Ragstone Details
The Bearsted development has nine beautiful homes with fully landscaped, private, gardens. However, sometimes it’s the unexpected details that we love to include. Featured on the outer boundary of plot 1, and also in the dedicated parking spaces for the development, there is beautiful Mathios Stone’s Savoie Kentish Ragstone Slip Supplied By Design 4 Build Ltd. It’s a detail that catches your eye as soon as you walk up the road, and one we’re looking to include in future developments.
Central Location
Not only did Bearsted village feature in our rundown of the best Kentish villages, it also hosts our Forge Mews development. Forge Mews is nestled in the heart of the village – right next to the village green and a five minute walk from the train station. Not only is there an independent café directly opposite, there is also two very popular local pubs either side of the green.
Show Home Dressing
Our show home at Forge Mews was designed and fitted by the talented Ellen Leedham at Salthouse Designs. Reflecting the biggest interior design trends of the past few years, the home came together beautifully. Using statement colours, and fun colour blocking, the show home was like none other we’ve had before. And it really shows on this development.
Open Plan Living
Featuring an open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area, Forge Mews utilises the sprawling space of the room with efficiency. Walking into the home you will meet a short hallway with the downstairs bathroom on the right. After this you enter the open plan area of the home, with the stairs on your right. Perfect for young families, and those who love natural lighting. Or even just if you love the community of communal space.
